The original Shreveport, LA punk/hardcore band, Zack the Rookie has evolved their sound to include influences from progressive punk, indie rock, emo, and screamo bands such as AFI, THRICE, CURSIVE, and THE REFUSED. Recorded and mixed by D. Braxton Henry (A Dozen Furies, Jacknife, Drowning Pool), mastered by Alan Douches (Hot Water Music, Snapcase, Sick of it All) at West West Side Music, with guest vocals by Kaila Brasell (Triprocket) and Karla Devil (The Picts, Antarctica vs. the World), and all original art painted by Leland Strebeck, Lonesome No More is nearly an hour's worth of technically melodic and intricately themed music, lyrics, passion and art.
